Daniel Choo, MD, FAAP, FACS currently serves as Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of medicine and as director of the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology head and neck surgery at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
His background includes training in Otology/Neurotology and his clinical efforts focus on ear and hearing disorders in children. Dr. Choo's work includes pediatric cochlear implantation, management of chronic ear disease as well as hearing and communication management in children with complex disorders. He is actively engaged in the Academy (serving on the Hearing Committee) as well as the Triological Society, ASPO and SENTAC. Dr. Choo's research interests include hearing management in children with CHARGE syndrome and the development of novel drug delivery vehicles to the inner ear for disorders such as CMV-related hearing loss.
