Dr. Rahul A. Patel, MD is a PGY-1 otolaryngology resident at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. Rahul received his undergraduate degree in biology from New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, New York. During his time working in the biomedical sciences lab of Qiangrong Liang MD, PhD at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine he worked to characterize the role of metformin on autophagy and mitophagy in cardiomyocytes.
