Steven Bielamowicz, MD, FACS is Director of the Voice Treatment Center at The George Washington University. He is currently Chief of Otolaryngology and Professor of Surgery at The George Washington University. He received his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine and completed a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at UCLA, under the leadership of Dr. Paul Ward and Dr. Gerald Berke. He completed a laryngology fellowship at the NIH, under the direction of Dr. Christy Ludlow and has a research interest in neurolaryngology, including vocal fold paralysis, laryngeal dystonia, aging changes of the larynx. He has research interests in the physiology and modeling of laryngeal function. His clinical practice is limited to voice, airway, and swallowing disorders.
