Mia Miller, MD attended Harvard Medical School and subsequently completed Head and Neck Surgery Residency at UCLA and fellowship in Otology, Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery at UCSD. She was awarded the American Neurotologic Society (ANS) Fellows award for her research paper, “Hearing Preservation and Vestibular Schwannoma: Intracochlear FLAIR Signal Relates to Hearing Level.”
Dr. Miller is board-certified in Otolaryngology as well as Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery.
Prior to joining Cedars-Sinai in 2021, Dr. Miller also practiced at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center and the House Ear Clinic, where she was the Associate Fellowship Director. Dr. Miller studied human temporal bone histopathology at the NIDCD National Temporal Bone Laboratory at UCLA under the tutelage of the late great Dr. Fred Linthicum. Her body of research encompasses human temporal bone studies, including immunohistochemistry studies, advances in imaging techniques for Meniere’s Disease, and outcomes research in acoustic neuroma management and skull base surgery.
At Cedars Sinai, Dr. Miller has launched the Temporal Bone Course for resident teaching and serves as the Director of Neurotology for the Acoustic Neuroma and Lateral Skull Base Center.
