Martin J. Citardi, MD, an internationally recognized rhinologist, currently serves as Professor and Chair of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at McGovern Medical School (University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston) as well as McGovern Medical School's Vice Dean of Clinical Technology Dr. Citardi received his doctor of medicine degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at Yale University and then pursued a rhinology fellowship at the Georgia Rhinology & Sinus Center. Dr. Citardi is certified by the American Board of Otorhinolaryngology, and he is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American College of Surgeons and the American Rhinologic Society. He has over 100 publications, and he has edited a textbook on computer-aided otorhinolaryngology. Dr. Citardi has served as Director and Information Technology Officer for the American Rhinologic Society. Dr. Citardi’s clinical practice focuses upon disorders of the nose and sinuses. His special clinical interests include refractory sinusitis, revision sinus surgery, CSF rhinorrhea, computer-aided surgery (image-guided surgery), and minimally invasive anterior skull base surgery.
