Matthew Lin is a first-year resident at the UCLA Department of Head and Neck Surgery. He attended the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California, where he pursured a full-time clinical research year in otolaryngology, and the University of Southern California, where he completed his BS in Human Biology with a concentration in Applied Physiology and a minor in Cinema-Television for the Health Sciences in 2019.
Matthew's clinical interests span the range of otolaryngology with an emphasis on head and neck oncologic and reconstructive surgery. His research interests center around improving the quality of life of head and neck cancer patients, using digital media to improve healthcare literacy, and medical education disparities and quality improvement initiatives. In his free time, Matthew enjoys running and trying global cuisine.
