Dr. Jacqueline Alvarado serves as the President of the Pan American Association of Otorhinolaryngology and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-HNS Pan-American Liaison
She completed her Pediatrics residency and post-graduate training in Otolaryngology at the Central University of Venezuela. She completed her otology fellowship at the University of Bellvitge, Barcelona, Spain, and a mini-fellowship in rhinology at Emory University, Atlanta.
An international speaker in Pediatric Otolaryngology, Dr. Alvarado is a past Chair in the Department of Otolaryngology at Children's Hospital of Caracas and an adjunct professor at the Central University of Venezuela.
She is the Past President of the Venezuelan Otorhinolaryngology Society and the Venezuelan Association of Craniofacial Anomalies.
Her line of research is focused on pediatric rhinosinusitis, pediatric otology, and otorhinolaryngology in Latin America.
