Professional Experience:
Since July 2008, Dr. Lin has served as an Attending Physician in the Rhinology Division of the Department of Otolaryngology at the National Taiwan University Hospital.
Leadership and Supervisory Roles:
In 2021 and 2022, Dr. Lin served as a Supervisor for the Taiwan Skull Base Society, overseeing the society's activities and contributing to the advancement of skull base medicine in Taiwan. Additionally, he has contributed to the field of biomedical innovation and entrepreneurship as a participant in the SPARK Asia and Oceania program in 2021.
Teaching and Training:
From 2020 to 2022, Dr.Lin served as a Teaching Faculty member at IRCAD Taiwan, sharing his knowledge and expertise with aspiring physicians and surgeons. He has also participated in the NTU SPARK program, engaging with students and guiding them in exploring innovative ideas in the medical field.
Consulting and Collaborations:
In 2017, Dr. Lin served as a Consultant for the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA). Furthermore, Dr. Lin broadened his horizons through a visiting scholar position at Stanford Medical Center in the United States from August 2013 to July 2014, collaborating with renowned experts in his field.
Research Interests:
Dr. Lin's research interests encompass the fields of biomaterials and medical instruments/medical devices. His passion for innovation and advancing medical technologies drives him to explore new possibilities in these areas, aiming to improve patient outcomes.
Honors and Awards:
Notably, Dr. Lin has been honored with the National Innovation Award in 2018 and 2019, highlighting his pioneering work and dedication to driving advancements in healthcare. In addition, he was awarded the Best Teaching Award by the School of Medicine, College of Medicine, National Taiwan University in 2015 and 2023, acknowledging his commitment to educating and mentoring future medical professionals.
