Robert L Witt MD, FACS is a Professor of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA, Affiliate Professor: Biological Sciences, University of Delaware, Newark DE, and Director Emeritus of the Head and Neck Multi-Disciplinary Center, Helen F. Graham Cancer Center, Christiana Care in Newark, DE. He has been a Principal Investigator (R01 grant)-National Institutes of Health (NIH) Grant-Functional Assembly of Salivary Cells to Relieve Xerostomia and editor of four books (Thyroid Cancer, Salivary Gland Diseases). He has authored more than 90 manuscripts and chapters (most as first author), and has been a speaker, panelist, and moderator at many national and international meetings as well as an editorial board member of several leading journals.
