Evan M. Graboyes, M.D, MPH is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and Public Health Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina where he is the Director of Survivorship and Cancer Outcomes Research (SCOR) at the NCI-designated Hollings Cancer Center. His clinical practice focuses on the reconstruction of complex defects of the head and neck. His research, funded through grants from the National Cancer Institute, American Cancer Society, and multiple foundations, seeks to understand and address issues related to cancer care delivery, health-related social risks, and mental health among people with cancer along the cancer continuum. He has authored over 125 peer-reviewed publications related to cancer care delivery and cancer survivorship. In addition to his clinical practice and research, Dr. Graboyes is active nationally through his service to the American Head and Neck Society (Chair; Value & Quality of Care Committee), NRG Oncology (Co-chair of the Health Disparities Committee), and National Cancer Institute (Member, Previously Untreated Locally Advanced Head and Neck Cancer Task Force; member Social Determinants of Health Working Group).
