Shrey Shah is a third-year medical student at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School interested in the field of otolaryngology and whose research focuses on investigating methods to better identify and treat hearing loss. Shrey works with Dr. Ying and Dr. Kalyoussef at NJMS to help investigate the feasibility and effectiveness of using tablet-based hearing screenings to identify hearing loss in an urban healthcare setting. Shrey also helped cofound the Community Audiometry Screening Clinic at NJMS where students raise hearing loss awareness in the Newark community by hosting hearing screening clinics at community institutions like the Newark Public Library.
