PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: To succeed in todays business environment, otolaryngologist need to be their own expert coders. Coding 2024 will serve as a both a review course and update. We will start by reviewing current evaluation and management codes used in a a variety of clinical setting such as out patient, in patient and tele health. We will discuss the new code G code G2211. We will then review common Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes and modifiers. Next, we will review any new or changed CPT codes relevant to otolaryngology. We will also provide a Medicare update. At the end of the course, participants should feel ready for coding in 2024 and beyond.

Learning Objectives:

Use the appropriate E&M code for clinic visits and hospital consults using the new guidelines from the CMS.
Use new G Code G2211 appropriately as an add on code with outpatient clinic visits
Select the correct CPT codes for procedures and surgeries
