President and CEO
ENT Centers of the Ozarks
Springdale, AR, United States
Dr. Manning is the President and CEO of the Ear, Nose, and Throat Centers of the Ozarks with special interests in the areas of health technology, healthcare policy, and practice leadership & management. Though he started his career in corporate finance for a Fortune 100 company, he made a difficult decision to leave finance to follow his passion in medicine. He completed his residency in otolaryngology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. While his primary medical practice passions are endocrine surgery and facial reconstruction, he enjoys the opportunity to help affect national healthcare policy by currently serving in a number of roles on the local, regional, state, and national levels.
On the national level, he has served in multiple leadership and health-policy capacities including serving as the coordinator-elect Advocacy and Health Policy for the AAO-HNS, the chair-elect for the AAO-HNS Physician Payment Policy (3P) workgroup, Past-Chair of the AAO-HNS Board of Governors, and has served on the Board of Directors for AAO-HNS and on the Executive Committees for the Board of Governors and the AAO-HNS. He is the past-chair for AAO-HNS Practice Management Education and serves on the Education Steering Committee. He serves as the alternate panelist for the RVS Update Committee to the AMA where the values for the CPT coding system are negotiated and recommendations for Medicare payment are made. Regionally, he is the chief-of-staff for the Northwest Health System and serves on their Board of Directors, leads the Medical Executive Committee, and in several executive leadership positions.
