PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Salivary Gland Diseases Ultrasound –The goal of this lecture is how to carry out a thorough examination.
Lecture is dedicated to E.N.T. who wants to learn how to do ultrasound examination of salivary glands.
You will find from how to hand a probe to the different salivary pathologies.
It will give you many examples and show you a lot of images.
Like this, you could have a real base to start this remarkable examination.
Salivary UltraSound is the gold standard for salivary pathology.
It's the cheapest, quickest and most remarquable salivary examination.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Learn to recognize a salivary gland with normal anatomy and how to hand a probe to see maximun details on parenchyma for e.g. duck, pelvis, lymph nod, muscle, fat.
  2. Demonstrated ultrasound is the best examination for salivary pathologies from acute, chronic infections, duck abdomalies, lithiasis, systemics diseases, to all the tumours.
  3. Explain what is new approach of elastography for salivary duct patology and approach of tumour diseases. this new method can give more details and advance diagnostic .
