PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Zenker diverticulum, a rare condition characterized by an outpouching of the pharyngeal mucosa, poses unique challenges in diagnosis and management. With advancements in medical technology and surgical techniques, there are multiple treatment modalities available, each with its own advantages and limitations. This debate will delve into the comparative effectiveness, safety, and patient outcomes of the three primary treatment approaches: open, endoscopic, and flexible procedures. Expert panelists will debate and share their insights on the evolution of practice, patient-centered care, and precision medicine in ZD management. Attendees will gain a nuanced understanding of the complexities involved in treating ZD, from technological advancements to practical tips and pitfalls, ultimately enhancing their clinical decision-making and patient care strategies.
