PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Join us for this year's FPRS Great Debate on septorhinoplasty in children and adolescents. Dr. Sydney Butts and Dr. Adam Johnson will tackle this controversial topic, shedding light on the latest knowledge regarding the impact of nasal septal surgery and rhinoplasty on nasal growth. They will discuss the indications for surgical intervention and engage in an in-depth discussion of challenging surgical cases.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Discuss age considerations and indications for septorhinoplasty in children and adolescents.
  2. Evaluate treatment options through case discussions involving pediatric patients with nasal obstruction.
  3. Address surgical technique considerations, including cartilage sources and key surgical steps in pediatric septorhinoplasty.
  4. Review current knowledge on the impact of nasal surgery on nasal and midface growth.
