Mr. Antonio Bon-Nieves, BS, is a 4th-year medical student at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. Bon-Nieves completed his undergraduate studies in Cellular Molecular Biology at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras campus. He completed a clinical research fellowship from the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC). His research interests involve pediatric hearing loss and translational research of genetic therapy in treating congenital hearing loss. Bon-Nieves is interested in pursuing a career as a surgeon-scientist in otolaryngology.
