Nikhila Raol, MD, MPH is an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and a pediatric otolaryngologist at Texas Children's Hospital. In addition, she is a health services researcher with a interest in pediatric feeding disorder and obstructive sleep apnea. She just completed a Fulbright-Nehru Scholar Award in India where she study the interplay between untreated ankyloglossia and breastfeeeding maintenance rates in a low income population. She joined the faculty at BCM in 2024, where she focuses her clinical and research efforts on airway/aerodigestive disorders. She is a member of the aerodigestive, feeding, and refractory OSA multidisciplinary teams at Texas Children's Hospital. Outside of work, you will find her reading or listening to a great book, playing or watching sports, and belting out music from Bollywood or Broadway, all typically either with or to the chagrin of her husband and three wonderful children and dog.
