Ankona Ghosh, MD is a board-certified Otolaryngologist – Head and Neck Surgeon who
practices comprehensive otolaryngology at the Division of Otolaryngology at Cedars
Sinai Medical Center. She provides comprehensive medical and surgical otolaryngology
treatment ranging from nasal obstruction and sinus pathology to voice disorders and chronic
cough, with a special focus in the treatment of salivary gland disease, thyroid and parathyroid
diseases, and sleep medicine. She is trained in the surgical treatment for obstructive sleep
apnea (OSA) using the Inspire device.
Dr. Ghosh received her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California where
she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a double major in Biological Science and Political
Science. She then spent a decade at the University of Pennsylvania where she received her
medical degree and completed her otolaryngology training.
Dr Ghosh has been committed to academic pursuits in both patient-focused clinical research
and education. At the University of Pennsylvania, she conducted extensive research projects
spanning the fields of laryngology and rhinology. Her peer-reviewed research has been
published in top ENT journals with her current clinical research interests including resident education
and simulation training.
