PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Dissection of complex fontal sinus anatomy remains a challenging surgical frontier for the practicing otolaryngologist. This session will utilize 3D-printed sinus models and focus on dissection of complex frontal sinus anatomy. Participants will learn how to utilize the building block model of evaluating frontal sinus anatomy, correlating that with the International Frontal Sinus Anatomy Classification (IFAC) nomenclature system, and then performing hands-on dissection using high fidelity 3D-printed sinus models. Each station will feature a video tower and endoscopic equipment, a navigation system, and a 3D-printed head with interchangeable sinus cartridges that can be exchanged between participants. Each participant will have one-half of the sinus model available for dissection.

Learning Objectives:

Utilize the building block model to preoperatively assess complex frontal anatomy.
Analyze frontal anatomy using the International Frontal Sinus Anatomy Classification.
Demonstrate surgical techniques used to perform complex dissection of the frontal sinuses.
