Dr. Josephine Czechowicz, MD, FAAP is Asscociate Professor of Otolaryngology at University of California - San Francisco. She practices Pediatric Otolaryngology at UCSF--Benioff Children's Hospitals in Oakland and San Francisco. Her academic interests include vascular anomalies and health equity. She is Associate Medical Director of the UCSF Birthmarks and Vascular Anomalies Center and conducts research on equity in access to vascular anomalies care and outcomes. She has collaborated with partners in Peru, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Chile and Equatorial Guinea, as well as locally in Oakland. She represents Otolaryngology on the leadership council of the UCSF Center for Heath Equity in Surgery and Anesthesia (CHESA), and on the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on International Child Health. She is an Otolaryngology lead of the multidisciplinary Craniofacial program at Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland.
