Dr. Clare Richardson is a board certified otolaryngologist with subspecialty training in pediatric otolaryngology. She currently practices in Phoenix, AZ at Phoenix Children's Hospital in the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. She also has teaching and academic affiliations with Mayo Clinic and the University of Arizona. She completed medical school at Loma Linda University, otolaryngology residency at Case Western Reserve University, and a pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Following fellowship, she completed an NIH T32 training grant studying advanced imaging and computational fluid dynamics of the airway. Dr. Richardson’s clinical and research interests include endoscopic and open airway surgery, aerodigestive pathology, voice disorders, craniofacial conditions, vascular anomalies, and tracheostomy management. She also has an interest in 3D printing, simulation, and medical education and serves on the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery Simulation Education Committee and American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology Education Committee. She has a teaching certificate in medical education from the University of Washington and currently serves as the pediatric otolaryngology site director for the Mayo Clinic Phoenix otolaryngology residency program.
