Dr. Amin is Professor of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at New York University Medical School and is the Director of the NYU Voice Center. He also serves as Service Chief of Otolaryngology at Tisch Hospital and Clinical Vice Chair of the Department. He is a member of several national laryngology-related societies and is Past President of the American Bronchoesophagological Association. Dr. Amin runs a busy Laryngology program at the NYU Langone Medical Center and serves as Fellowship Director of the NYU Fellowship in Laryngology and Voice Disorders. He has published over 100 peer reviewed papers, written 13 book chapters and has served as Editor of two major Otolaryngology textbooks. His research background and interests are diverse, though he focuses on translational research primarily. He currently has NIH funding to study the effects of chemoradiation on swallowing function.
