Dr. Frank T. Materia, PhD, MHS is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Otolaryngology and Population Health, and the Associate Research Director for the Digital Health Co/Lab at the University of Kansas, in the School of Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center. His research focuses on the development and implementation of mobile health systems (e.g., text messaging, apps, wearables) to support healthy lifestyle modification and reach and access of medical care to underserved patient populations with chronic diseases.
