Yolanda L. Troublefield, MD, JD, FACS. Physicain, Southcoast Otolaryngology, Dartmouth, Massachusetts; Clinical Instructor, Brown University School of Medicine; Fellow - American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Troublefield is a graduate from Rutgers College and holds a law degree from Georgetown University. Before entering medical school, she served as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the Children’s Hospital of New Jersey.
She received her medical degree from New York University and completed her otolaryngology residency at Rutgers School of Medicine. Following this, Dr. Troublefield, established a thriving otolaryngology practice in New Hampshire, and has earned some of the highest praise from her colleagues and in 2003 and 2007 was selected by them as a “Top Doctor” in New Hampshire Magazine.
As a direct extension of improving patient care, Dr. Troublefield readily engages in many different teaching, educational and political aspects of medicine. She has has been appointed as a Clinical Instructor at Brown University – Alpert School of Medicine. Locally, she is a Board Member and Legislative Chairperson of the Massachusetts Society of Otolaryngology. On a national level, she is the Secretary of the Board of Governors, and member of the Pediatric Otolaryngology Committee, Diversity Committee and Harry Barnes Society – all divisions of the AAO-HNSF . While in New Hampshire, she served as Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at Dartmouth Medical School and has also been affiliated with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey.
Dr. Troublefield has been involved in many areas of healthcare for over 20 years. She has focused her interest in health services spanning from the legal, political and legislative aspects, to direct patient care; and through her numerous appointments, she wishes to utilize her expertise to continue to make positive inroads into the healthcare landscape on behalf of all patients.
