PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC) is one of the most common cancers faced by the Otolaryngology community. Treatment strategies for CSCC patients with advanced disease continue to evolve rapidly with the incorporation of immunotherapy. Treatment approaches may vary among institutions and national consensus guidelines are likely to change. This expert panel presentation will review cutting-edge research and the current best evidence to guide management decisions relevant to general otolaryngologists and head and neck specialists alike for patients with advanced CSCC.

Learning Objectives:

  1. To understand recent advances in the treatment of advanced cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC).
  2. To describe the current evidence supporting treatment strategies for advanced CSCC.
  3. To understand the potential application of perioperative immunotherapy strategies to advanced CSCC.
