Kara Prickett, MD, FACS, is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Pediatrics at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. She also serves at the Fellowship Director and Division Vice-Director for pediatric otolaryngology at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Her clinical expertise lies in the management of complex pediatric head and neck masses and pediatric thyroid disease. Her research focuses on patient safety and quality improvement initiatives, specifically in the realms of opioid reduction, Enhanced Recovery After Surgery protocols, and novel forms of patient and family education.
