Jordan Stout, BFA is a fourth year medical student at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix who is presenting with the Albert Park Lab from the University of Utah Department of Otolaryngology. Jordan completed a one-year research fellowship with the Park Lab during which she studied the mechanisms underlying cytomegalovirus (CMV) induced hearing loss. Projects included the isolation and observation of vestibular hair cells in CMV-infected mice and potential drug treatment alternatives to valganciclovir in a mouse model.
